Learn English and use connected speech in daily life. Connected speech is the rapid rate of speaking used in everyday activities.
There is a big difference between the sound of a single word and the sound of many words strung together to create phrases and sentences.
Certain elements of sound are barely audible because people want to say as much as they can in the least amount of time.
Unstressed elements (consonants, vowels, syllables) are reduced in speech. The consonant /t/ is often eliminated when it is between words.
